It takes 12 months of hard work to put on 12 days of America's Fair. And the man in charge of it all is Denny Laing. Laing has been leading fair preparations for 9 years - - working year-round to make sure the week and a half long event runs smoothly.
"It takes twelve months of hard work with a staff of about 17 people", says Laing. "It starts out as a jigsaw puzzle - - at september we unwrap the box and start turning the pieces right side up - - and the last day before the fair we put the last piece in place."
America's Fair runs until August 17th at the Hamburg Fairgrounds.
