15-year-old Sunny Rathod is calling himself extremely lucky today. Only yesterday Rathod had a 3,000lb. icicle fall directly on top of him at the Ramada Limited Hotel in Batavia, but surprisingly he walked away unharmed.

"It felt like I was under the ice for a long time," said Batavia Resident Sunny Rathod. "But I had no pain, nothing at all."

Rathod tells Eyewitness News he was helping his father, the Manager at the Hotel, remove ice from a downspout. Crews spent 45 minutes trying to free the Sunny, and had to use pressure air bags to free the trapped teen. Rathod received only minor scratches during the incident.

"I feel blessed," said Rathod. "It's like someone is watching over me."

"I just want to say thank-you to everyone who saved my son," said Sunny's Mother, Bindu Rathod. "It's a miracle. I can't even imagine how lucky he is."
