According to Kentucky television station WLEX, fire department officials in a Kentucky county said a woman accidentally triggered a fire that destroyed several apartments in her building while trying to kill bedbugs.
According to the WLEX report, fire officials said the woman doused her couch an alcohol to get rid of the bedbugs, and that the fire started when she dropped a cigarette. Four people were taken to an area hospital due to smoke inhalation, according to the WLEX report.
