Woman Dies After Falling Down Elevator Shaft

According to a story in the Canton (Ill.) Daily Ledger,a 47-year-old Illinois woman fell to her death down an elevator shaft at her place of employment on Wednesday.

Authorities are still investigating the death, but preliminary results indicate the woman's death was accidental, according to the report.
