Winter Festival of Lights to Open Nov. 5th.

(Niagara Falls, Ontario) Officials in Niagara Falls, Ontario announced the complete schedule for the 29th annual CAA Winter Festival of Lights.

Over one million people are expected to attend the holiday event.

The economic impact to the Niagara Region is estimated to be around 57-million dollars.

This year, the festival will feature new light displays, an outdoor skating rink at the brink of the falls, and an all-ages sports fest.

The opening ceremonies for the CAA Winter Festival of Lights takes place on November 5th in Queen Victoria Park.

On the America side of the border, there are plans for a Holiday Outdoor Market which will include several vendors, a skating rink, and four concerts.
