NIAGARA FALLS, NY (WKBW) - Nik Wallenda will make a special announcement on Wednesday morning exclusively on ABC's Good Morning America right here on WKBW Channel 7.
"Details coming soon and this is not an announcement that's going to be made out of city hall," said Niagara Falls Mayor Paul Dyster, who is busy organizing preparations with the city police department and local tourism industry.
"We're going to try to get people to come early, stay late, have fun and spend some money," he said.
"We're pretty much used to handling large crowds," said Maj. David Page with New York State Park Police.
"That's what we do every weekend and all summer. We're used to handling events and managing crowds. This one is a little unique," he said.
