The Science Of Sports to Open at Museum of Science

BUFFALO, NY (WKBW/Release) - The Buffalo Museum of Science will celebrate the opening of their fall exhibit, The Science of Sports with a ribbon cutting ceremony with exhibit partners the Buffalo Bills, Sabres, Bisons, Bandits, New Era Cap, and exhibit media partner WGR-550AM, all of whom played integral roles in the creation and promotion of the exhibit.

The ribbon cutting event is today at 10:30 A.M. with representatives from the exhibit's presenting sponsors, Harris Beach PLLC and UB Orthopaedics, who will also say a few words.

Opening September 29th and running through January 6th, 2013, The Science of Sports explores the science behind Buffalo's favorite sports. Aside from being competitive, sports are a complex equation of math, physics and biology. Learn why Science is the M.V.P. on any field, rink, diamond or court.

This family-friendly exhibit focuses on the science behind football, hockey, baseball, golf, sports medicine, concussions, and more.
