Rural Metro Strike Is Over, Employees Return to Work
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - An agreement has been reached between union members and Rural Metro early Tuesday morning. According to Teamsters Local 375 President Kevin Drysdale, the tentative agreement is a four-year proposal improving wages and health benefits for employees. The deal still needs to be presented to and voted on by workers. That vote is scheduled for sometime next week.
