An EWN crew is headed to the scene of a rollover crash on the I-290 E. near the Elmwood exit early Tuesday morning.
Town of Tonawanda Police say four people were involved have been taken to ECMC with injuries.
We are told by the NFTA that serious injuries have been reported.
Both the on ramp and off ramp on I-290 at Elmwood Avenue, Exit 1 Eastbound, were closed for almost three hours but reopened just after 7 a.m.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
We will have more information when it becomes available.
