He was brave, and he made a successful save.
According to a report from the Orlando Sentinel, a 66-year-old Florida retiree jumped into a pond and wrestled with an alligator in order to save his dog -- a West Highland Terrier, that had been snatched by the 7-foot gator.
The man successfully saved the dog and made it to shore without serious injury, according to the Orlando Sentinel report.
