Retired Astronaut Killed in Jet Ski Crash

A tragic accident in Florida involving a retired astronaut.

According to the Pensacola (Fla.) News Journal, 51-year-old retired astronaut Alan Poindexter died Sunday after a jet ski accident at Pensacola Beach.

Poindexter and his son were riding on one jet ski when another jet ski driven by another of Poindexter's sons reportedly crashed into them, according the the News Journal report.
