A Cattaraugus County snow plow caused property damage and slid into a ditch Thursday night.
Troopers say the driver, 61-year-old Roy Smith of Randolph, was headed north on Rte. 62, en route back to the County Highway Barn in Markhams, when the snowplow he was driving started sliding towards the ditch.
Smith was unable to bring plows under control and went into the ditch.
No one was injured.
Police say it took two heavy equipment tow trucks and a county high lift to pull the plow out.
