Police are investigating the death of a 5-month-old baby in LeRoy.
Police responded to a call at a home on Main Street just after 5 p.m. Saturday of an unconscious woman and an infant not breathing.
When police arrived, they found the woman having medical issues and CPR being performed on the infant. Responding officers assisted with CPR until an ambulance arrived.
The infant was taken to the hospital where it was pronounced dead.
Police continue to investigate the cause of death, whether it be natural or accidental.
