Overnight Shootings In Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. ( WKBW ) Buffalo police have arrested two individuals in connection with an overnight shooting that occurred in the 100 block of Urban Street.

Ferry-Fillmore officers responded to the call at 12:30am at 127 Urban Street, upper apartment.

The 35 year old male who was shot tells Buffalo police that 1 or 2 individuals knocked on his door and when he answered the door, one of the suspects shot him.

Police say the two suspects then fled the scene.

Officers did arrest the person shot, 35 year old Rashaad Goodman of that address and a female who also lives there, 27 year old Rabeehah Shamsidin and charged them with numerous counts of criminal possession of narcotics and also charged Shamsidin with reckless endangerment of a child.

Police say they found crack cocaine, other drugs and money in the apartment.

Goodman was taken to ECMC to be treated where he is listed in critical condition.

The investigation continues.
