Buffalo, NY (WKBW) - One of the largest appliance parts distributors in the country has donated 30 new appliances to some Western New York organizations. 1st Source Servall provided 6 groups with refrigerators, washers, dryers, stoves, microwaves and dishwashers. The recipients of this donation are: Compass House, Faith Based Fellowship, Friends of Night People, Haven House, Teen Challenge of Western New York, and Vive La Casa.
"Funding has been cut every year," said Compass House Executive Director Sylvia Nadler. "These are things we can't afford to replace. So when someone like First Source Servall comes in, and says 'Hey we have a gift for you', it means the world."
1st Source Servall also donated the costs for delivery and installation for all the appliances.
