BUFFALO, NY ( WKBW ) Members of "Occupy Buffalo" camped out at Lafayette Square in downtown Buffalo Wednesday were asked to shut down.

Watch how the story unfolded in this overnight video shot by Allen Leight.

Niagara Square was peaceful and subdued this morning, with Occupy Buffalo protesters focused on the issues. That wasn't the case in Lafayette Square overnight with major controversy brewing after the area was raided and one person arrested.

Niagara Square is the original camp but a small group of people over last weekend decided to set up shop in Lafayette Square, which didn't go over well with city officials. Mayor Byron Brown and protesters came up with an agreement that Niagara Square would be the Occupy Buffalo Headquarters and that tents can be set up but Lafayette was not part of the agreement.
