Niagara Street Fire Closes Street

BUFFALO, N.Y. ( WKBW ) Eyewitness News cameras were at the scene of a house fire at 2058 Niagara Street Friday afternoon.

Heavy fire & smoke engulfed the 2 and a half story home. Firefighters battled the blaze in the 2nd floor and attic.

As a result of the fire, Niagara Street was closed between Hertel Avenue and Farmer Street for a period of time Friday afternoon.

There are no reports of any injuries at the time of this posting. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

The Buffalo Chapter of the American Red Cross was on scene to assist any victims.
