Man Places 3-Year-Old Inside Clothes Dryer And Turns It On, Police Say

According to a news release from the Guernsey County (Ohio) Sheriff's Office, authorities said a 40-year-old Ohio man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly placing a 3-year-old child in a clothes dryer and turning it on as a form of punishment.

The man, who was initially arrested and charged with child endangerment, was subsequently arrested on a felony domestic violence charge, according to the news release. Police said the child had no visible injuries.
