BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - 13-year-old Justin Zirpola is so ill that he hasn't been able to go outside in two years. But with the help of some local volunteers, that will be changing very soon.

A team of volunteers are performing a mini-makeover on the Zirpola's Milton Street home.

Young Justin was born with Spinal Stenosis, and he suffers from severe seizures. His condition is so bad, that doctors aren't sure how much longer he will live.

The Make-a-Wish Foundation partnered with Cricket Communications, WNY Americorps and Hospice Buffalo to renovate the Zirpola home to help Justin have a first floor bedroom with access to an outside deck.

Volunteers hope to wrap-up the project in about a month, giving Justin a few weeks to enjoy the summer.
