MTV's 'Jersey Shore' to End After Upcoming Season

(MTV news release) MTV's hit show "Jersey Shore" is ending after its upcoming season.

According to a news release from MTV:

MTV on Thursday announced that Season Six of “Jersey Shore,” premiering on Thursday, October 4 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT, will mark the final season of the pop culture phenomenon.

Jersey Shore is MTV's highest-rated series in history, according to the news release.
