(WKBW release) In a news release issued Tuesday, Buffalo Police announced they have located the person of interest in connection with Monday afternoon's apparent domestic homicide that occurred on Andover Avenue.
According to the news release:
Buffalo police have arrested and charged 32-year-old Antoine D. Mattox with the murder of Nedra E.Thomas-Mattox, 38, on Andover Avenue. Mattox was charged with murder in the second degree.
Northeast District police were originally called to the scene around 3:25 Monday afternoon, and found the woman deceased in a rear bedroom of the house. Police had identified Antoine Mattox as a person of interest early in the investigation, after police learned he left the house around 1:30 in the afternoon. He was located by Rochester police, inside the Greyhound Bus Station on Cumberland Street in Rochester. The suspect was returned to Buffalo, and questioned by homicide squad detectives.
