NEW YORK CITY, NY (WKBW)- 23-year-old Jacob Vogelman, a University at Buffalo Graduate, and his friend were killed in Brooklyn when a tree crashed down on them. Vogelman graduated from UB 2 years ago with a degree in Theatre Design.
New York City officials say Vogelman and his friend were walking their dog in the Ditmas Park neighborhood of Brooklyn when a tree, blown over by the strong winds, fell on them.
Their bodies were discovered pinned beneath the tree around 8 A.M. Tuesday morning.
There's no word if any memorial services will be held in the Buffalo area.
