NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y (WKBW) So many former students of the 93rd Street School in Niagara Falls are claiming they have serious health issues, that the local attorney handling the case had to reach out for help.
"To bring to bear resources on a national level that would be able to help us sort through the facts and the evidence," said Christen Civiletto-Morris.
Thursday night, attorneys from two firms that specialize in litigation relating to wrongful toxic exposure came to Niagara Falls for a special meeting with Love Canal area residents.
The lawyers came from the law firms of Phillips & Paolicelli in New York City and Waters & Kraus in Dallas, Texas.
Hundreds of people showed up for the meeting that was held at the Frontier Volunteer Fire Hall in Niagara Falls.
Legal teams collected information and they will now investigate to see if there is a link between exposure to Love Canal chemicals as children, and deteriorating health as adults.
