The New Humboldt Inn is releasing surveillance video of the shooting that horrified workers and customers exactly one week ago.
The video is chilling. Cameras capturing the moments leading up to a violent attack February 28th at around 2:30 a.m.
Two men get out of a silver SUV and calmly walk toward the entrance of the bar. The first suspect holds the door open while the second man, holding a gun, begins firing shots into the club.
Surveillance cameras rolled on the entire incident from inside the bar too.
A security guard manning the front door on his first day on the job is shot several times, once in chest and arm. Two other people were also wounded. They have all been released from the hospital but the security guard faces a long recovery.
There is confusion about whether or not the two suspects had been thrown out of the bar that night for some sort of altercation then came back.
This isn't the first violent incident that happened at the Humboldt Inn. Back in July of 2011 three people were shot right across the street, one man was killed.
Customers we talked to say for more than a decade the Humboldt Inn catered to an older crowd but recently began attracting younger clientele looking for a place to go after other bars close.
After these violent attacks the owners want to return to the old school.
No more Djs. And they are closing earlier on Wednesday night at 1 a.m. They will also begin shutting down earlier on the weekends.
Finally, the owner is considering making the bar a members-only establishment.
