Gas Prices Down Again

BUFFALO, NY ( May 31-from gasbuddy.com/ WKBW) While Average retail gasoline prices in Buffalo have fallen 2.9 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.95/g yesterday, United States Senator Charles Schumer has a scheduled stop in WNY Tuesday to investigate possible price fixing by major oil companies.

The WNY price of gas compares with the national average that has fallen 3.2 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.77/g, according to gasoline price website BuffaloGasPrices.com.

Including the change in gas prices in Buffalo during the past week, prices yesterday were $1.04/g higher than the same day one year ago and are 9.4 cents per gallon lower than a month ago. The national average has decreased 13.7 cents per gallon during the last month and stands $1.04/g higher than this day one year ago.

Eyewitness News will have the latest on Schumer's announcement and the prices at the pump as summer approaches.
