GE Recalls 1.3 Million Dishwashers Due to Fire Hazard

(CPSC news release) The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission on Thursday announced that GE had recalled approximately 1.3 million dishwashers due to a potential fire hazard.

According to the CPSC, an electrical failure in the dishwasher's heating element can post a fire hazard. The recall involves GE, GE Adora, GE Eterna, GE Profile and Hotpoint brand dishwashers.
