One woman is dead following a one-car crash late Tuesday afternoon in the Town of Barre.
60-year-old Jacqueline Dingle of Albion was operating a 2006 Chevrolet sedan traveling west on Maple Street when Orleans County Sheriff Deputies say her vehicle crossed the center line, ran off the south side of the roadway, and sheared off a fire hydrant.
Dingle was taken to Medina Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Deputies say it's believed the accident was due to some type of medical issue.
