A heroic effort from a family over the weekend.
According to a report from The Oregonian, members of a family attending a family reunion at a lake park in Oregon on Saturday rescued eight children who were in danger of drowning.
The children ranged in ages from 6 to 13, according to The Oregonian report. Officials said non of the children appeared to suffer life-threatening injuries, according to The Oregonian report.
