BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - Attorneys for the Wellsville man who claims ownership of 84% of the social networking site Facebook were in Federal Court in Buffalo Wednesday morning.

Attorneys for Paul Ceglia are trying to have their court case moved from Federal Court in Buffalo to State Supreme Court in Allegany County.

Ceglia says he met Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in 2003 and has a contract signed by Zuckerberg promising him at least 84% of the company's profits.

The Wall Street Journal obtained a copy of the alleged contract which shows both men's signatures dated April 28, 2003. However, lawyers from Facebook say the contract is probably forged.

Orin Snyder, the attorney for Facebook, commented off-camera saying, "the case is a fraud brought by a convicted felon with a well documented track record of defrauding and scamming honest people. This is just his latest scam."

Federal Court Judge Richard Arcara could seek more information before making a ruling on whether the case will be moved from Federal Court, making it unclear how long a decision will take.
