A sad story out of Massachusetts.
According to The Westfield (Mass.) News, a married couple drowned Monday night while trying to rescue their dog, who had jumped into a lake from the couple's boat.
Authorities said the 64-year-old man jumped into the water to rescue the dog, and when he began struggling, his 61-year-old wife jumped in to help him, according to The Westfield News report.
