CLYMER, NY (WKBW) The superintendent of Clymer Central School District, 51-year-old Keith Reed, was found dead at his home on Clymer-Sherman Road Monday morning, after being reported missing Sunday night.
Chautauqua County Sheriff Joe Gerace says Reed died of multiple gunshot wounds.
Reed was last seen Friday afternoon, and after being absent throughout the weekend, a missing person's report was filed Sunday.
Sheriff Gerace says forensics specialists are investigating Reed's death, and will not name any suspects.
This was Reed's first academic year as Clymer's superintendent. He was named superintendent last November. Following his death, the district has cancelled Monday night's school board meeting, along with a volleyball match and pep rally scheduled for Tuesday.
