Buffalo’s Official Fourth of July Celebration

Buffalo, N.Y. (WKBW release) -- Buffalo’s Official Fourth of July Celebration will take place on Monday, July 4 at the Erie Canal Harbor Central Wharf.

The free-to-the-public event will feature some of Buffalo’s best
talent and a fireworks display over the Buffalo River in celebration of Independence Day.

Scheduled performers include Tom Stahl and the Dangerfields and Lance Diamond. Dennis George will open the festivities at 6 p.m. with his Buffalo Trivia Contest. There will also be hands-on children’s activities and clowns and balloon art from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in
cooperation with Explore & More Children’s Museum.

At 7:15 p.m. military personnel from the Niagara Falls Air Force Base will perform a solemn Flag Folding Ceremony. This ceremony
will pay tribute to the US military in celebration of our freedom.

Fireworks over the Buffalo River will begin at 10:15 p.m.

Parking is available in paid lots and ramps in and around the HSBC Arena, and access is also available through the NFTA MetroRail Park and Ride.

Coolers, cans, bottles and outside concessions are not permitted on the event grounds. Folding chairs/blankets are welcome.
