BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - Parishioners at St. Michael's Church in downtown Buffalo were overjoyed to that the man selected to be Pope is a Jesuit.
The church, located on Washington Street, is the only Jesuit Church in the city of Buffalo.
The Jusuit Order is a Roman Catholic order founded by Saint Ignatius of Loyola in 1534 to defend Catholicism against the Reformation and to do missionary work.
