Buffalo Woman Pleads Guilty to Tampering with a Witness

BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - 41-year-old Theresa Bryant, of Esser Street in Buffalo, pleaded guilty to Tampering with a Witness in the 4th degree, before County Court Judge Thomas P. Franczyk on October 26th.

Bryant admitted that on August 31st, 2012 that she had tried to dissuade a key prosecution witness from testifying against her son, Darius Bryant.

Darius had pleaded guilty on October 9th, 2012 for Attempted Burglary in the Second Degree.

Theresa Bryant faces a maximum prison sentence of 1 year, and will be sentenced on January 16th, 2013 at 9:30 A.M.
