An attempted late night rescue of a dog who wandered out on to the Lake Erie ice Monday night had to be put off until Tuesday morning. Sheriff infrared camera's photographed the dog stuck on a patch of ice a few-hundred yards of shore near Westfield. Officials hope to start the search again after dawn.

A 49-year-old California man is in trouble with the law after skipping out on paying his cab fare and leaving his three Daschund dogs behind.

Buffalo prepares to welcome more than 10,000 college basketball fans to HSBC Arena downtown this weekend. Area restaurants are preparing with express lunches to keep up with the massive crowds needing services.
