BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) -- The opening round of the NCAA Tournament will make a stop in Buffalo, with games being played Friday and Sunday at HSBC Arena.
NCAA officials have shipped a special floor to all the venues to be installed in all arena's hosting tournament games.
This weekend's games are expected to bring big crowds to the downtown area, bringing with them lots of business for area restaurants and retailers.
The action starts Friday with East Region action as #2 West Virginia plays #15 Morgan State at 12:15 p.m. At 2:35 p.m., #7 Clemson takes on #10 Missouri.
Friday evening will see West Region play as #8 Gonzaga plays #9 Florida State at 7:10 p.m., followed by #1 Syracuse playing #16 Vermont at 9:30 p.m.
The action continues on Sunday with the winners of the first round in each region playing one another.
