BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) -- Here are some of the top stories from Good Morning Western New York.

The recent warm temperatures and rain have continued to make local waterways dangerous, leading to number of ice related rescues and incidents. Authorities are warning residents to stay clear of waterways as the ice continues to melt.

The Downtown St. Patrick's Day Parade brought thousands to Delaware Avenue Sunday. Everyone was Irish for the afternoon as the crowds dressed in green and cheered as Irish dancers, bagpipes and fancy floats passed by.

The NFTA will be holding the first of four public information meetings Monday night to discuss the results of a study regarding fare rates. Tonight's meeting is at the Cheektowaga High School on Union Road from 6 pm. - 8 p.m.
