Local Invent-A-Thon

BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) -- The goal is make the world an easier place to live, and many local minds gathered for a special Invent-A-Thon to showcase some fresh ideas.

Dozens of projects were on display at Starpoint Intermediate School in Niagara County, where students in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades took part in the school's annual Invent-A-Thon.

Over 100 student inventors created over 70 inventions for this years Invent-A-Thon, many of which provide practical solutions to everyday problems.
