BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) -- Here are some of the top stories from Good Morning Western New York.

Families of Flight 3407 crash victims are planning a news conference for Wednesday morning in an effort to push for the passing of an airline safety bill. The bill is currently being held up in the Senate by a Tennessee senator in an attempt to prevent a House provision from making it into the final bill.

New York Democratic Congressman Eric Massa continues to make headlines, appearing on national television to make his case of being forced out of congress. Massa also denied allegations of groping three male staffers.

The Erie County Sheriff has fired three employees and suspended three other in a case of inmate abuse at the Eire County Holding Center.
