Terminations at Erie County Holding Center

BUFFALO, NY ( WKBW ) Two Erie County Sheriff's Deputies and a Sergeant have been fired. That action is linked to recent accusations that some of the employees at the Holding Center in downtown Buffalo used excessive force on some inmates.

Chief Brian Doyle making this announcement Tuesday, noting that several deputies have been suspended as well.

Eyewitness News has learned that the inmate involved did not cause physical injury, and that inmate was released.
