BUFFALO, NY ( WKBW ) With the slogan "Dine Local, Dine Often, Dine Well," restaurants in Western New York are celebrating a week that gives them a chance to capture customers with a $20.10 meal.
Stavros Malliaras of "Nektar" on Elmwood Avenue says he has participated during all of the past restaurant weeks. Diners get a chance to sample the fare from their favorite establishments for a good price.
Historically, late winter is a slow time for restaurants. This promotion is a boost for business now, and in the future.
Eyewitness News cameras caught up with Amy Adamczyk from Eden. She was out with her two daughters and a friend. She has sampled many new restaurants during all of the previous Restaurant Weeks. Amy and her group are a restaurant owners dream.
Each participating restaurant is offering an entree. The price level of the restaurant determines what other items are also included.
