This year's Oscars saw many first-time winners and plenty of laughs as Hollywood came out to honor the best of 2009. CNN has a wrap-up.

The New York State Regents Board is expected to meet Monday to discuss the idea of cutting 13 of the 17 Regents exams. The move could save $13 million.

A movement to save a local state park is getting a lot of support from local residents. A vocal group in East Aurora is making a stand to save Knox Farm from the state budget ax.
