BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) -- The Local 282 Firefighter's Union representing Buffalo Firefighters is still waiting for $25,000 they claim to be owed by the City of Buffalo. But the City says some of those expenses are for alcohol served at parties during the funerals of Capt. Charles "Chip" McCarthy and Jonathan Croom.

According to receipts obtained by Eyewitness News, the Union spent around $11,000 on alcohol served at post funeral receptions.

City officials say it's their policy not to reimburse for alcohol and they're not backing down. But the Union claims the city is breaking contract and breaking the law.
