HAMBURG, NY (WKBW) -- Police in the Town of Hamburg are looking for help in the investigation into the death of an elderly woman who was struck by a vehicle overnight.
Police say the incident happened around 12:54 a.m. Wednesday morning, when a white female in her late 60's or early 70's was reportedly seen in the roadway on Lakeshore Road before being struck.
The operator of the vehicle was not charged and the victim's identity is not yet known.
Hamburg Police are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to call the Accident Investigation Unit at 648-5111 ext. 2502.
