KENMORE, NY (WKBW) -- The sounds of music and the feeling of excitement are overwhelming at Kenmore East High School lately.

That's because some students there will be heading to the Manhattan School of Music to compete in the Charles Mingus Jazz Competition.

This prestigious competition only accepted three regular high school bands from across the county to compete in the finals, which makes this a very big honor for students at Kenmore East.
