BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) -- Here are some of the top stories from Good Morning Western New York.

Just over four-years after New Orleans was devastated by Hurricane Katrina, the city has reason to celebrate. The New Orleans Saints defeated the Indianapolis Colts Sunday night to win their first ever Superbowl championship.

A Buffalo man is in jail after being charged with holding a teenage girl captive for six months. 26-year old Michael J. Abdallah has been charged with unlawful imprisonment, 2nd degree rape, and custodial interference for allegedly holding a teenage runaway girl captive from July to December of last year.

This week will mark the one-year anniversary of the crash of Continental Airlines Flight 3407, and family, friends and members of the community are planning a number of events in memory of the victims. Eyewitness News will also air a number of specials all week remembering the tragic crash.
