First aid skills were the focus for Boy Scouts in West Seneca for a first aid rally on Saturday. Some 300 young people competed in teams to test their skills in dealing with first aid problems such as severe bleeding, broken bones, and frostbite. Their work was being judged by volunteers from local fire and rescue companies.
