Detectives tells Eyewitness News that Thomas Johengen, 51, of Lancaster experienced some kind of medical emergency that caused him to lose control of the flat-bed tow truck he was driving Thursday night. His truck ended up crashing into a utility pole on Central Avenue in the town of Lancaster. Johengen was taken to St. Joseph Hospital where he later died.
