WASHINGTON, D.C. (WKBW) -- Less than two-weeks from the day of the crash of Flight 3407, families of the crash victims gather in Washington, D.C. for the NTSB hearings where officials are expected to release their final report.

Many expect the NTSB to focus on pilot error as a main contributor to the crash of Continental Connection Flight 3407, which killed all 50 people on-board when it crashed into a home in Clarence Center last year.

However, many families are focused on the NTSB recommendations which will be made to the FAA after releasing its findings Tuesday.

The FAA recently released its "Call to Actions" for airlines, focusing on airline safety and pilot training, however many families are concerned whether the FAA will quickly adopt the NTSB recommendations.

Eyewitness News anchor Keith Radford is in Washington, D.C., and will have reports on Eyewitness News throughout the day and here on WKBW.com.

You can also watch the NTSB hearings LIVE on-line, and a link will be available on the WKBW home page.
