A Cattaraugus county man is lucky to be alive and sharing his frightening story. Scott Swiezy says he'd been having transmission problems with his car and as he was driving south on the I-190 Saturday afternoon everything locked up on his car and the vehicle went flying off the highway. The car landed on Alabama Street and Swiezy says he felt like he was in a video game as it was happening and he was trying not to hit anything.

"I went over the median," describes Swiezy, "Bunch of fence pieces, small pine tree and I just tried to weave in between it and I was... and you can see I stopped a foot before that telephone pole and I slammed on the brakes and got out of the car, all people helped me out and that was that."

Swiezy walked away from the crash with just a small scratch on one knuckle.
